About Bindi

Bindi Breed: Boxer Mix Sex: Female (Spayed) Age: approx. 5 yrs Weight: 55 lbs Vaccinations: Current Microchipped: Yes Our sweet, energetic Bindi came from the western part of the state. She was a last minute save as her hold time was up and no one had stepped up to save her. She had a huge tennis ball size mass on her front leg, several other masses, and some fractured teeth. She had to be out of the shelter on the day her hold was up. This created a monumental problem as we didn't have transport to our area. One of our board members grabbed her husband from work and they headed to Staunton, VA to meet a volunteer from the shelter half way to get her. She was a smelly happy girl when she discovered that she was safe. She is recovering from surgery, so no interaction with other dogs, but she did meet her foster's cats and did well. She appears to love children, although she is a bit over zealous and has to be supervised around children as she could knock them down. Bindi would love an active family who hikes, runs, or walks. She also needs to attend training class so she can learn how to be a family member.
