About Oskar and Winnie

Welcome Oskar and Winnie. These pups are available for adoption. They are Pure bred Piebald Dachshunds. One is 10 and one is 9. A little girl and a little boy. They lost their owner who was 96. They were obviously loved very much. Amazing little dogs. They love to be held and are very affectionate. They are bonded and will need to be adopted together. I would say an older single person or older couple. They naturally like men due to previous owner. They are very loyal little dogs and enjoy sleeping in the bed with their family. They are not fond of the crate. They are good alarm dogs and will alert you if something isn't right or warn you if someone is at the door. They know the word no and are very very affectionate. Colin and I are fostering these gems. We will be exercising them and giving them smaller portions. Looks like they may have been given table scraps. They are turning their nose up to the kibble in the Lang Ranch and do some begging at the dinner table. The little girl is blind from birth and gets along great without sight. Oskar helps her around. Winnie and Oskar can be adopted locally in Texas to a great family or transported to the East or the West Coast. I know there is a Dachshund loving family looking for love and these two would make perfect companions!! Adoption fee is 185 each and transport is 185 each.
