About SWEETIE NEEDS A HERO

I'm SWEETIE, a 2 year-old, 60 lb., female Black Mouth Cur/Hound mix looking for a forever family. I was abandoned by my first family when they moved. They just left me in the yard. (how could they do that?) I was so happy to be adopted and have loved being part of a family again. But now my family says I'm too energetic, and they don't have time for me. So if I don't find a new family, I will have to go to the local shelter. I'm a good girl, a lovely girl, generally quiet, calm and laid back; I'm crate and house trained and walk well with a harness. I LOVE to ride in cars, long walks and lounging in the backyard taking in the sights and sounds of the season. I'm smart and treat-oriented, so I'm a quick study. I do have energy and love hiking and walking and playing in the backyard... doesn't everyone? I would love a guardian who has time for me; one who will help me build up my confidence. Ideally I'd be the only dog in the home for a while so I could soak up all the attention. No young and small kids because I could knock them down by accident when I get playful. I just a family that will love me forever. In return, I will shower you with affection, loyalty, and lots of kisses too. PLEASE COME GET ME SOON. A SHELTER IS THE MOST UNSAFE PLACE IN THE WORLD. If Sweetie does not get a foster or adopter soon, her family will be dumped at a local kill shelter where she will in all liklihood be killed. My heart breaks for this sweet girl.
