About Jackson

This precious boy is Jackson, a 13 year old Shih Tzu that weighs about 17 pounds. He was surrendered while at the groomer. The lady who surrendered him said she could no longer keep him. Thank goodness the groomer called our rescue and Jackson is now in good hands. Jackson is doing well with going outside to potty and has been consistently successful. He is settling in at his foster home and is very low key. He enjoys sitting with his foster mom and he likes just lying around. Jackson loves car rides and will walk on a leash. He will sleep in a crate when he wants to, otherwise he sleeps on a comfy chair. We believe Jackson was an only dog as he is not interested in interacting with the other dog in his foster home and will let her know not to bother him. He has been okay around kids, but seems to prefer the company of adults. We do not know how he is with cats. Jackson will do best with an adult in a quiet home and as an only dog or with another low key dog that would give him his space. He is heartworm negative and microchipped. He is one handsome fella and is ready for a home where he can relax and be loved. If you would like to give Jackson his new home, please submit your application.
