About Loki

Loki is a 2 yr old Great Dane Mantle. He loves my children and I. He loves my close family and friends who he has known since I got him. I got Loki when he was 6 mths old. He was skinny, scared, and could barely see. His eyes cleared up but still wonder if he can see very good. I have a 5 yr old Boston Terrier and they get along great. He didn't seemed to bothered by other animals. The problem is. He doesn't like other people. I can't keep him because where I moved doesn't have proper housing for him and I'm afraid he will get out and bite. He needs a privacy fence and is so unhappy right now. but I can't afford to move. I looked into a dog handler to rehabilitate him, because that is what he needs. But unfortunately I can't afford that either. Loki needs someone that can help him with his aggression and is experienced in bad behavior. He's a great dog that needs to be corrected. My daughters are 8 and 15. He is such a sweetheart and loves them so much. But when people or children come around he doesn't know he gets so protective and would attack. I think he was abused and neglected as a pup. I can't keep him with this liability or afford what he needs. I DO NOT WANT TO PUT HIM TO SLEEP! but I'm running out of options and don't know what to do. I can't re-home and I can't keep him! HELP! I need a dog handler that can take him and give him a better life! Or maybe even someone that can help me with the funds to get him into a program. I just want what's best for him. Either way. If anyone wants to adopt him they need to be experienced with large breeds and aggression.
