About Georgia

Meet Georgia! Georgia is a gorgeous gem and a sweet, gentle beauty. She walks like a lady on leash, and soaks up attention like a soft, squishy sponge. She needs to lose a few pounds and she needs someone to care for her in her golden years. Georgia's temporary foster shared: Miss Georgia (A1779866) has been a rockstar of a foster thus far, finding her spot in our crowded lifestyle of pets, peacocks, and people. So long as she gets 2-3 short walks per day, she is perfectly house-trained and gets along splendidly with dogs, cats, children, etc. When we first took her in, she had some difficulty getting in and out of her bed and making it all the way around the block without stopping to rest. After 12 days with us, I am proud to report that her mobility has improved tremendously, popping in and out of her bed whenever called, going up and down stairs, and she is able to go multiple blocks now without stopping. She sleeps through the night without a peep and is truly a calm, low-maintenance, adorable presence in our household. This is an EASY dog to love and care for and would make a terrific addition to virtually any kind of home. The foster took Georgia to the vet and she checked out healthy. She just needs to lose a few pounds and she has :)
