About Spirit

Adoption Fee: $295
Lab mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Hi - I'm Spirit!!! I'm a 1-year old female lab mix, and weigh approximately 50 pounds. If you are looking for a playmate, cuddle pal and lifelong friend - HERE I AM!! I greet everyone with a big smile and tail wag, and love to be scratched on my tummy! I'm still young, and have lots of energy. My foster family has adults and teenage children who play with me every day. I need a fenced in yard to keep me safe, because I LOVE to fetch the frisbee or play soccer. I am great friends with my furry foster siblings and I walk well on a leash. I am potty trained and know several commands like 'sit', 'shake' and 'down'. I'm working really hard on staying off of the couch (but it's so comfortable!). I can be left alone with my furry foster siblings during the day for a few hours at a time, but I am happiest when I am with humans. I will follow you EVERYWHERE if you don't mind. I would love an active family who wants to take me places (car rides are very cool!), but at the same time, I also don't mind a little quiet time of laying on your feet and snoring (YES - I SNORE!) Most of all though, I just want a family to call my own! Contact the rescue today because I just can't wait to be your best friend! Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed. Please consider becoming a foster home while you search for your new best friend. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments. Fostering is a rewarding experience for your family.
