Introducing Petey! This petite puppy makes friends everywhere he goes. A single pup abandoned at a high kill shelter, he was lonely and afraid. As soon as we offered rescue, he was able to move into a foster home in LA where he is getting lots of attention and love. Petey gets along well with other dogs, really enjoys being with people and has no interest in cats. We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in Petey's genetic background. Our best guess is that he is a Lab mixed with a smaller breed dog. We expect him to reach 45-50 lbs as an adult, but can not guarantee his size. Petey is crate trained and working on his housebreaking skills. Highlights about Petey: - Enjoys playing with other dogs - Sweet & playful - Up-to-date on vaccines - Crate trained - Working on his housebreaking skills - Likes to spend time with people - Well socialized - Happy, friendly, affectionate - Has not been neutered* * Based on current veterinary recommendations, Petey has not been neutered due to his young age. We do require proof of this procedure at a later date as part of the terms of our Adoption Agreement. Please discuss the correct time for this to be done with your veterinarian. We can provide a $75 rebate once the procedure is completed. Our adoption fee is $375 which includes age appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, Rabies), worming, micro- chipping, and health exam. Discount vouchers for training, grooming and similar dog related products and services are provided. NEW: First vet visit is now FREE with participating VT veterinarians.
