About Boo

Boo is a female 16 week old chiwinnie which is half Doxie & Chihuahua she weighs about 6 lbs now an full grown should be about 12 to 15 lbs. Her owner no longer wanted her and brought her to a shelter thinking they would take her but they did not take in owner surrenders. They gave them a name of another shelter to take her to. As they were entering the shelter someone approached them and asked them about the puppy. They said they no longer wanted the puppy. So this person took her. She still had her collar and tag on. A few hours later one of our volunteers spotted the puppy tied up on the freeway on ramp. They pulled over and took the puppy she was left tied up with a bag of puppy food and water. So this person called the number on the tag and proceeded to tell them they had their puppy thinking they would want her. They curtly told them no they no longer wanted or had time for the puppy and they had said they gave it to someone. So the volunteer called us right away and told us her sad story and we took her into our rescue right away. She is very sweet and energetic very playful loves to play with other little dogs. She is crate trained and got her first round of shots on 7/30. She still needs 2 more round of shots and to get spayed soon. She would be perfect for anyone looking for a playful energetic puppy or a play mate for another dog. She is great with small kids and just wants to give kisses. So no couch potatoes for her.
