About Shelby (and Sidney)

Shelby and Sidney are a bonded pair of pups who came to us from the Tuba City Humane Society. Shelby is a darling little 4.5 month old female border terrier mix, and Sidney is a handsome 4.5 month old Australian shepherd mix. Shelby and Sidney have been in foster homes together for quite some time, both in Tuba City, and now in their lovely foster home in Phoenix. Shelby and Sidney have a special and unique bond. Shelby is the shy and submissive sister. She looks to her brother for guidance and absolutely hates to be separated from him for any amount of time. Sidney is the most confident alpha dog. Sidney eats first, takes the lead, and helps Shelby to be more confident when he is around. This lovely pair has learned a lot in their foster home, but still have a lot to learn. Both Shelby and Sidney sit for treats. They prefer to play with each other, but Sidney is slowly starting to bring toys to his people to play as well. Shelby will take some more patience to win her affection. Sidney and Shelby will need a patient and understanding family, but will reward their family with endless loyalty. They each weigh approximately 15-20 pounds with Sidney weighing a bit more than Shelby, but will still grow. Shelby and Sidney are both altered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked.
