About Huck

Say hello to Huck! This handsome guy is 4-5 years old German Shepherd Mix who weighs about 65 pounds. He is super friendly and loves people. He was found as a stray two years ago and was never claimed. When Huck was rescued, he was neutered and successfully underwent heartworm treatment. He now has a clean bill of health and is ready to find his forever home! He LOVES to play in the water whether it's his water bowl or the baby swimming pool. He loves female dogs, but doesn't like male dogs at all. You could say he's a ladies man. Due to this, our rescue feels he would be best suited in a single dog home. He is great with kids and is good with all people. He is not so fond of cats. He loves to play with the tennis ball, loves to go on walks and loves to spend time with his people. He loves to hike and to go running too! He would make a great fit for an adopter with an active lifestyle. He deserves a wonderful home of his own with his forever family. He is currently located down South at our sister shelters and available for pre-adoption. We do transports to NJ once a month. He can't wait to find his forever home!
