About Dobber

Adoption Fee: $0
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Dobber! This sweet girl was originally abandoned locally in a cardboard box and taken into RCHS. She was adopted out last year but after her new family had all the carpets changed in their home she broke out in a severe skin rash or allergy under her neck. Their local vet tried treating her but it was getting worse. They had no choice but to return her to our facility. After about 3 months of a grain-free food & antibiotics on her sores, she seems to have turned a corner & gotten back her friendly demeanor. She's a DMH Grey & White, about 17 months old, weighs approx. 10 pounds, is up to date on vaccines, FIV/FELVnegative, de- wormed, & spayed. Dobber warms up to anyone willing to show her affection & returns the same with purrs. & would make anyone a wonderful companion. Her adoption fee is sponsored with an approved application. Her ID is CF1707010. An application is available by clicking on the following link ) http://www.robesonhumanesociety.org/images/Adoption_Application_2015.doc You can email it back to us at [email protected], or fax it to 910-738-8685. All animals at RCHS are up to date on vaccinations, tested for Felv/Fiv, heart worm and treated if positive, dewormed and spayed or neutered if over the age of 6 months. If they are younger than 6 months, the adopter receives a voucher that is good at any vet and covers a portion of the procedure. For more info on how to adopt, please email us at [email protected] or call the shelter at 910-738-8282.
