About Maxie Moose

Look at this happy boy! Maxie Moose is a 10-year old who doesn't know it! He acts like a young dog in all the good ways--happy, playful, friendly, social--and not in the bad ways--he is potty trained, gentle, socialized. Maxie is not too experienced being around other dogs, but he has lived with children aged 0-17 yrs and is wonderful with them. Max is friendly with strangers and is an all-around lovable guy! He is a big boy, weighing over 80 lbs. Identified as a senior boy, his placement fee is $50. Hours open to the public 10 am - 4 pm. Up to date on shots, spayed or neutered and micro chipped. You are encouraged to make every effort to visit the shelter for a meet and greet. Staff available to assist. You can walk on the trails and interact in the play yards. Unless otherwise noted, we can not say if your dog does well with cats, livestock or chickens or with the dogs you may already have in your home or at dog parks. So please, if you have a dog, please arrange to bring for a meet and greet. Current vaccinations and micro chipped.
