About Tipper

Tipper is a three year old spayed and chipped female Husky mix. She is completely white except for the tips of her ears and the tip of her tail, hence the name Tipper. She has beautiful brown eyes that look at you lovingly. She will sit, lie down, and give a paw and will sit and wait to be released to go to her food bowl. She also loves to run around the yard when I playfully chase her. She loves to go for walks or runs and accompanied me in our first 5K Mutt Strut.She also loves home baths and is cooperative when I Dremel her claws. She is very eager to please and be with her person. Unfortunately she has a bad habit of digging out under our fence even with a shock collar on. I have tried to train her not to do this and she does fine for a while but ultimately chooses to dig out again. I was told that this is typical of the Husky breed which I did not know when I adopted her two years ago. I believe she needs a person who is able to run her on a daily basis, something I can't do due to physical issues. If you want a dog who will love you to the moon and back and you have the ability and desire to adopt a dog who will be a steadfast and happy daily running or walking companion, this beautiful dog is surely that.It is my opinion that she would do better as an only pet as she is jealous of my attention to my other dog at times even though she loves to play with him .She also loves my male cat but doesn't know how to play gently with him. She loves to be outside but I believe she could adapt to being inside with her person as well.
