About Sidda Lee

Adoption Fee: $100
Pointer mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Sidda Lee is a beauty! Could be pure bred. Vet thinks its likely though she was listed as a lab pointer mix when I got her 3 months ago from a rescue in Georgia. I have tried very hard to keep her here on my rural acreage but she really needs a fenced yard. She's sweet with lots of energy and just needs more than I can provide. I have a 2 page document describing her in every detail and will send to you if you email me for it. I really want to find her a great home with a kind, patient and available 'alpha' owner. She needs someone who's experienced with high energy, slightly stubborn pups. She has loved my cat from day one for some reason, but chases all other cats. She's chipped and gone through basic training but still struggles with getting some basic commands. She's 100% house trained. I will be happy to drive her up to an hour or an hour and a half to meet you. She comes with a large crate and toys. It breaks my heart to have to let her go but it's for her own safety. I've spoiled her a bit so the new owner may have to break a few bad habits like sleeping in the bed! She's a great snuggler! Also a great guard dog! Alerts me to strangers and is mistrustful of visitors at first, but warms up quickly. Her loud barking tends to intimidate kids but she's never shown any aggression toward kids. I really haven't had her around kids enough to really know if she could be good with kids. She just needs more socialization with kids. She's an escape artist and a jumper so inside gates or regular chain link fences won't hold her in. She'll need to be in a tall fenced area with lots of running room. She'd love to have another dog her size to play with. She's funny sometimes and needy sometimes. Sleeps well off and on during the day and sleeps all night with no problem. I think she's had a fairly rough start in life since she has separation anxiety. I give her all natural calming pills from PetSmart to help. She's getting better but it'll take a patient person to allow her time to warm up to you and adjust to her surroundings. I think she'll repay your kindness multiple times over as she matures. I will check vet references to make sure she goes somewhere safe and to someone who will love her and take good care of her. Please consider giving Sidda a good home!
