About Bowzer

Wowzer Bowzer!! True to his roots this boy has some energy and is one little ball of fun and adventure! Well, that makes him sounds like a four footed hurricane and he surely is not, Bowzer just likes to have fun. He is actually a very sweet, loving, well mannered little guy that is very easily corrected and will look for guidance in his person, but he will need a dog savvy family that can keep him on the right path. Bowzer has had a history of 'resource guarding', which means he will protect/guard things that he finds very valuable. We were told it was a donut in a parking lot at one point, then a hole that he dug so the new family will need to be aware of possible issues. With that said, he has been very appropriate and polite, shares his space, food, toys with other dogs and has been a great little guy. Perhaps because of the setting we have with other dogs he is not showing and guarding issues?? But-the generous shelter he came from is offering 3 FREE training visits with a professional trainer to help him settle into his new home and his family can learn to work on whatever needs he may have. Bowzer is a very loving boy, housebroken, quiet but loves to get his play on. He is looking for an active family, older kids/teens are fine but sorry no little ones.
