About Mia

Meet Mia! Mia is a fantastic dog - she is SO sweet, and loves to be with her people. She is smaller than you'd expect, given her weight - she's a very 'dense' girl. She has clearly had a rough life before she came to us, and is very fearful of new people and new situations, but warms up very quickly. She rarely barks, and is fully potty trained. She LOVES to play outside, and walks well on a leash. She also seems to be a very empathetic dog, and somehow knows people's emotions, and lends support and snuggles when she senses they are needed. I can't wait to see this sweet girl come fully out of her shell - she has made huge progress in just the few days we've had her and will make an excellent forever friend. Mia currently lives in a foster home in Texas. Rescue Road Trips will transport her if you choose to adopt!
