About Mileena

Mileena is feisty on the outside, but the cuddliest cuddle-bug on the inside. She is perfectly content staying inside all day, sleeping next to you with her body curled in the most perfectly round ball. Mileena currently lives in an apartment with her foster mom, and outside time can be stressful for her due to lots of human and dog activity. She is reactive toward strangers and would do best in an environment with minimal interactions with people and animals she doesn't know. Even though she is reactive at first, she loves humans and other dogs - she became quick friends with her foster brother after going for a walk with him the first time they met! She is learning how to play with her foster brother but doesn't seem to understand the purpose of toys�'�|she'd rather sleep! However, it's a good thing she likes to sleep so much, because she is currently heart worm positive and will begin treatment soon - meaning she will need to be on crate rest for some time. She is house trained and does well being left home alone (no messes and doesn't chew), but she does get very stressed and barks for awhile when her humans leave her. Her foster mom is hoping to break her of this with some training! Mileena is the perfect dog for a low-key household with humans who adore snuggling. She is full of an abundance of love and can't wait to find a forever home to share it with! Mileena currently lives in a foster home in Texas. Rescue Road Trips will transport north if you choose to adopt!
