About Lyla

A sweet, playful kitten who loves to snuggle and purr, Lyla is sure to bring happiness to your life and your family. After I found her stuck on top of a fence behind my apartment, I thought that she must have owners because she loves humans so much. She constantly wants to be near people, sit on laps, and snuggle. She starts to purr whenever you touch her. She didn't understand what kibble or even wet food was, though, and after she snagged a pizza slice from my hand and ran off with it, I realized she was probably used to eating garbage from the diner and bars near my apartment. She has since learned to be an indoor cat (and eat normal cat food), and she loves it. She has loved and purred in the arms of every human she has met, and she even likes my other cats (though they haven't really gotten used to her). She is also tame enough to let me clip her claws with nail clippers. She will cry out to you when she hears you coming home and greet you at the door. She needs lots of love and attention, which I cannot give her because with my schedule I am almost never home, and I am already at the limit for number of pets in my apartment. I've got until the end of August to find a home for her, or I'll have to take her to Metro Animal Services. She's been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated (needs boosters in about 3 weeks) and is completely healthy and ready for a forever home. Please give her the time and attention that I cannot; she truly deserves it.
