About Dune

We found this pup on the side of the road in Wetumpka and have been desperately searching for its home, filing reports at all the local shelters and clinics and asking surrounding neighborhoods, to no avail. If you are interested in adopting, we would like to wait a bit longer to make sure she gets her 2nd round of boosters and dewormer (8/22), but I'm more than happy to take down your information and we can start the adoption process. There will be a re-homing fee. This pup was full of worms, had no vaccination tags and has needed adequate nutrition. she was at least 5-10lbs underweight and putting weight on a growing dog isn't always the easiest, especially when it is full of parasites. And that wasn't cheap. So yes, I will be asking for a fraction of the cost to make sure you're serious about it and can afford to provide adequate care. Kyle and I care for this little one so very much and could not stand the thought of her going to someone who would not care for her responsibly or take her to a shelter. We cannot offer this pup everything she needs due to the needs of our own older dogs. Dune would make a great running buddy but needs guidance and consistency. She is housebroken, very submissive and does well with other dogs, however - she comes on a bit strong at first and would do best with experienced dogs.
