About Quinn

Adoption Fee: $200.00
Bull Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

We are looking for a family with older children and no other pets. Ideally we would love for Quinn to be with a owner that is knowledgeable and capable of training a dog-aggressive dog. Temperament is excited, happy and rambunctious. She is dog aggressive. She is protective of her yard and home, so she will bark aggressively at strangers and unknown dogs. She is good with all people that are welcomed into the home. She enjoys playing with our male lab mix dog. She is not aggressive towards our house cat, but occasionally will chase the cat. She is also gentle and patient with our toddler son. She is Physically healthy. Mentally happy and energetic, but can be very dog aggressive. We purchased Quinn when she was a couple months old. We brought her into our home with two older dogs and one cat. Quinn and our older female dog Winnie (rat terrier mix) only tolerated each other at best. Each dog struggled for dominance. They fought over attention, toys, and food. We were able to break up their many fights before either dog got too hurt. While on vacation, Quinn broke out of her crate and killed Winnie while our dog-sitter was away. She is decent on a leash but will pull occasionally. We use the 'easy-walk' style harness that works very well. Quinn will come sit by your side or will come up to you while wagging her tail if she needs to go potty. She will still pee/poop in the house if left unattended for a long period of time. She is crate-trained. She loves to play fetch, but is not good at letting go of the toy. She enjoys chewing on dog bones. She loves any type of ball and any type of stick-shaped toy. She loves ice cubes and any treats. Quinn is a good pet, but she needs more training and attention than we are able to provide. This is a very hard decision to make but we need to do what is best for Quinn and our family. We hope you will consider giving her a second chance at a wonderful life. She has a Microchip # 900164001138670. Microchip located at back of neck. Also there's a green line tattoo on her stomach next to her spay scar. She was last vaccinated over a year ago. She is not currently on any heartworm prevention.
