About Luna

Hi! My name is Luna! I am an 8 month year old pit bull mix. My first mommy could not keep me so a nice lady she knows is currently fostering me until I find a good home. I have alot of energy so I will need alot of exercise and mental training. I was told that I am potty trained but I have had a few too many accident than my foster mommy likes, but we are working on that. I am also learning new commands like sit, lay down, and stay, and my foster mommy is teaching me to be crate trained. I can seem a little scary when I see new people but once I get a little sniff of you, I warm up really fast and am ready to play. I have not been around any children so I am not so sure how I will react, but because I am a high energy dog, being around little kids may not be ideal until I get proper training. I did not get along with my foster brothers (a pit bull and a shepherd mix) when I first met them (I might have just been too scared), but after a slow introduction we now get along like best buds. We can play all day and never get tired. My foster mommy has to separate us so we can catch our breaths. All three of us even eat and drink together without any problems. I do get jealous when my foster brother plays with a toy I like, but I typically wait until he's done before I take it for myself. My foster mommy really wants to keep me but with two doggies already and with her in the process of moving to a new home, she doesn't get to spend the time with me like I need. She says she's not in any hurry to get rid of me because she wants to make sure I find the perfect furever home. But I am ready for my new adventure with my furever family.
