Chip started coming onto my patio begging for food a few months ago. She really wanted love but was super afraid. I found that she was living in a busted out basement window nearby. Owners of house did not know she was down there. Think she might have been abused because she is familiar with humans but very jumpy around us. I caught her after three days and got her in the house permanently. She does okay with my two cats but still doesn't quite get that they are playing sometimes. It took two months for her to let my husband touch her. We don't have any kids so I don't know how she would do with them, though I'm guessing that loud and high energy children might scare her. Her ear was torn from injury, not TNR so don't know if spayed. Hasn't gone into heat yet. Vet guesses she is no more than 1.5 years old and I got her screened at vaccinated. Clean bill of health. SHE IS SO SWEET!!! Once she trusts you she will beg for pets, loves belly rubs and chin rubs, and will follow you around and chirp a little. Likes to play very much. She has started sleeping on the bed with us and loves to cuddle (also attack toes under blankets so advise play with before bed. No litter box trouble at all. Working on not scratching furniture, she tries occasionally but will stop when I tell her to (snapping my fingers gets her attention). DO NOT YELL AT OR HIT THIS CAT! I can trim her claws, she hates it but won't fight once she realizes that she can't get away. I rent and I'm at my pet maximum. My landlord doesn't know I have her so I need to find her a home asap. Chip is a sweet little girl in need of a quiet and loving home. With a little patience she will be your new best friend!
