About Kariu

My health and his health are putting a strain on both of us. Kariu pronounced (like the baseball player Rod Carew) is an eight years old full blooded unregistered German Shepard (fixed) who has hip dysplasia, but a beautiful guy. Sleeps in doors next to my bed every night, travels, by car with me to visit family over 500 miles away without problems, excepted by family members to sleep in doors next to where I sleep at his aunt's (my sister house) his grandma's house (my mother's house). Fully house broken. Requires brushing but is a real sweetheart. Loves people and other dogs, has only been around one cat who helped raise him, she passed away at the age of 17, but he adored her, not sure how he would do with other cats but has not a mean bone in his body. Needs a loving, caring home with someone or family who will treat him as a family member and can give him the care he needs to keep him comfortable and manage his dysplasia. Micro chipped.
