Grinning comes as naturally to Jake as loving! Sweet, calm and happy, with a tail that wags nonstop, the 50-pound black beauty was clearly someone's pet at one time, and never tires of receiving pets, particularly on the head, from his fosters. He'll even do the ranger crawl, then use one paw to get their attention when he wants even more pets. Stranger isn't a word in his doggy vocabulary since he makes friends with everyone he meets, and being gently submissive, always rolls onto his back when playing with his furry foster sister. A great fan of treats, he's more motivated by attention and approval, knows 'come', 'sit' and 'down', is working on 'off' and on needing pets a little less often. Still honing his leash training, he's already crate trained and sleeps inside it at night. With a huge heart that's eager to love and be loved in return, all joyful Jake needs now is a patient and attentive home to complete his education and keep him mentally stimulated and physically satisfied fur-ever.
