Sherman is just about the most lovable doxie ever! He's a blue, 5 years, 9 pounds. Sherman was rescued from a backyard breeder. His ears are straggly, supposedly from being chewed by dogs in the kennels next to him. He lost several of his front teeth during his dental from being fed poorly. Sherman eats fine and is still so very handsome! He loves people, is very affectionate, enjoys being held, hugged, rubbed. His pretty coat is very short, feels like the softest peach fuzz. Because of his coloring, Sherman may lose some of his fur as time goes on, may need a tshirt in the sun. He likes a sweater in cold weather. Sherman has a high prey drive, will chase cats, squirrels. He needs a yard with a secure fence. He can squeeze through small openings. Sherman enjoys the company of other dogs, especially while exploring the yard! Sherman is a special boy, such a sweet love, deserves the best home! Please reach out and/or submit an application to adopt at http://www.almosthomerescue.org/onlineforms/adoptform.htm#
