About Avery

Little Avery is such a beautiful and smart mix that we think may have some cattle dog and aussie in her, but appears to be mostly collie. Her hair coat is wirey and her tail is somewhat bushy and she almost walks like she has some coyote in her!! She is about 6-8 years old and has the temperament of a stable and thoughtful dog. She just came into our shelter from a Kansas City shelter that was overcrowded and had to move some dogs out. Avery was brought to us by a Colorado rescue group. We would love to find a home for this gal that has a nice yard for her to relax in and a nice doggy bed inside to lay on. She loves her doggy bed at the shelter. She does Ok with other dogs and seems to like people no matter what size. She is a bit food aggressive though. All vaccines are done and our adoption fee for her includes her altering surgery and microchip too. $200
