About Jax

Hi, my name is Jax and I am a 4.5 year old German Shepherd. I LOVE to play fetch more than anything, so a backyard where I can play and run would be the best. And while I'm almost always down for a good throw, I need to be in a home with only adults or older teens that know when I'm not in the mood. I know many commands, including sit, stay, lay down, speak, and I can identify many of my favorite toys. Last November my dr. said I was heartworm negative and very healthy. I have always lived alone, so I need some socialization training. I have never even seen a cat, and I have only ever been around dogs at the park- usually I just smell them and go off to play on my own. I am VERY protective of my master, but once I know that someone is ok I will be ready to play with them, too!
