About VINCENT

Oriental
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Vincent is a very handsome Chestnut Ticked Tabby (coloration) Oriental Shorthair with gold eyes. He is 10 years old, weighs 9 pounds, is neutered, has his claws, up to date on vaccines, has had a dental, and is microchipped. This boy is awesome! He loves people, wants to be with them, and supervises every task or chore, or is happy just to sit next to you, to keep you company. He likes to jump up on your lap, or stretch up on his back legs, put his front feet on your leg, and get picked up for a hug. He likes to sleep in your bed nightly, and keep you warm. Because of a series of bad events, Vincent developed IBD (Irritable Bowel Disease), and is listed as Special Needs. He cannot digest hard food, and will need to stay on a prescription canned food plus a few choice canned foods to give him a little variety. The prescription food is easily obtained online through chewy's.com or your vet. He will need to go to a home where someone is available during the day, because he needs to eat 3-4 meals per day. Yes, sometimes, he gets a irky tummy, because of the disease, and gets nauseous, but he never lets it get him down, and hopes his new mom or dad, will be understanding. He will also need to take, 1 small prescription pill daily, and he is really good about taking it. We just can't say enough, about how much we love fostering this little man! He is such a treasure! He doesn't like other cats, and very doubtful he would get along with dogs, so he will need to be an only. Older children would be fine. We know there is a wonderfully perfect home out there waiting for him. Adoption Fee $125.
