About Chewy

This is Chewy, Chewy is from St Maarten and he is a (Chewbacca) chunky little love bug. He adores humans, dogs, and cats alike. He is extremely well socialized and plays well with kids and other dogs. He rides in the car and knows how to swim and play tug of war. He is curious about everything. He loves to play paddle in his water dish and also to put his nose on your nose and blow air on you. He is so cute! Chewy already learned to swim and he has been meeting many dogs and people so he's well socialized. Chewy was born on May 9 in St Maarten to a pitbull mix mother, father unknown, though likely a larger breed mix. He and his mother and litter mates were rescued the day he was born, from a confined space where the mother had been trapped without food or water for some time. The mother is only one year old herself and is amazingly friendly, sweet, and well socialized considering what she's been through. Her pups seem to share her Incredible personality and joy for life. Chewy is really a miracle pup as he survived and is now a big healthy boy! He is 22 pounds now at 12 weeks. He has pretty big feet and will be a strong energetic dog who loves to run and swim. Chewy would love a home with another dog to play with and a person or family who can spend time with him giving love and plenty exercise. He is wee wee pad trained and working on full house training. Chewy would love a home with another dog and a family that will take him on walks! I am sure he will bring you lots of laughs! Please note, the breeds on the island are different than in the US. So we can't tell for sure what breed the puppy is but what we do know is the puppy is 100% sweetness. Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be alone all day. The breed and age of this pet is listed as is our best guess. We have no background info on who the mom and dad are. We do not have a shelter facility you can visit.
