DASH - A4094286 Hi, my name is DASH. I am a spayed female, white and tan American Pit Bull Terrier mix, and the shelter staff think I am about 6 years old. I was found as a stray by a caring stranger, and I have been at the shelter since Jun 13, 2018. I'm a really big, friendly girl. The person who found me kept me for a little while, but had little dogs, and was a little afraid because I growled at them, so he brought me to the shelter. I'm a little gruff with other doggies, but I love people and kids. I would probably do best in a home without other pets. I like squeaky toys, and I'm calm, but playful. I'm learning how to 'sit', and I will take treats very gently. I love going on walks, and walk really good on a leash. I'd make a great walking or hiking buddy. I'm not a puppy anymore at 6 years of age, so people tend to overlook us middle-aged pups. If I don't get adopted soon, I make not make it out of here on all fours.
