About Pearl

URGENT: Pearl is a gorgeous sweet 1 year old girl who was surrendered at the shelter along with her two year old mother Penelope after they were both used as baby-making machines. Pearl had just had babies 5 weeks before and was still full of milk. Her owner said she lived with multiple children of various ages and with other dogs. Pearl is a sweet shy gentle girl. While she and her mother seem to take comfort in each other, they do not seem inseparable. And when let off leash, they roamed around separately, searching the playlot and checking in with the volunteers. She is at a high kill shelter that is full and dogs are being killed. Fostering is free of charge and everything is provided within a 90 mile radius of Chicago. Volunteers are willing to help with transport.
