About Angel

Angel was found tied to bumper of truck with another dog and a sign that said'Free Dogs' by one of our Volunteers! So happy that she saw them... When she was brought to us she had a horrible skin infection, ears infection, and a Cherry Eye that needed surgery. She is a Gentle Giant part #newfoundland weighing in at 85 lbs and sweet as can be. She had her 'Spa Day' with Lavonia Pet Salon and looks - smells- and feels much better now- 5 yrs old and has lived a life of neglect!! This current picture of her shows her after a recent shave to start fresh after a thyroid issue was diagnosed. With time, we are hopeful much of her 'elephantitis' skin will heal.
