About Susie Q

Susie Q is a petite, spunky 3-year-old, who seems to still be learning about the ways of the world. She greets each experience with a sense of wonder, a touch of caution, and an ever-wagging tail. Every day this 12-lb. Rattie mix comes out of her shell more and more. Once she gets over her initial shyness, she'll delight you with the way she appreciates the ordinary--getting to chew on a nylon bone, playing with other dogs and just watching the others play, and snuggling up next to you for a belly rub. Susie is house-trained and does well staying in a crate if you have to go out. Walking on the leash is not her strongest skill, but she's working on it. She'll do best in a home with a fenced yard, where she can roam a and explore on her own. Susie is looking for a patient family to help her continue to blossom by gently introducing her to more of the good things in that wonderful world out there.
