Hello there! We're Charlotte and Emily Bronte, and we're sweet, adorable, active, and playful gray tabby DSH identical twin sisters with distinct personalities who were born in May 2018. Emily (with the pink nose) says, 'I'm the more intrepid of the two of us. I'm an adventurous and super-curious kitten. I definitely lead the way: first to climb the cat tree, first to play with new toys, you name it.' Charlotte (with the brown nose) says, 'I'm the more cautious of the pair, so I rely on Emily to try everything first. Then I happily join in.' Because we are so bonded and so great together, we complement each other beautifully. Our mom and our litter of four were rescued as strays by a nice lady who knew we needed to get away from living at a low-income apartment complex. Whew! It was a struggle at our tender age, so we lived under the apartment building for protection. We're surely glad that our hardscrabble days are over and that now we live in luxury in our foster home. Goodness -- we're still with our birth mom, have cat trees to climb, cat toys to play with, and soft beds to snuggle in. It's heaven! And our foster mom has spent lots of time loving us, kissing us, and cradling us as a pair in her lap. Since we're bonded, we would love to be adopted together in a home preferably with no dogs OR a home with an older, low-energy, cat-friendly dog. Because we've lived a sheltered life in our foster home without kids and a lot of people, we'll need a patient human family who allows us to warm up to them. It won't be hard -- with time and love, we Bronte sisters will find all the cozy spots in your home and your heart. Charlotte and Emily are updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for their indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Their adoption fee is $200 for the bonded pair as kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends.
