TRACS was so lucky to have been able to help out some very cute older dogs who found themselves stranded at a municipal shelter in Maricopa County AZ. These little beauties are around 6-10 years old But the little Pekinese is less than that and around 4 we thing. They were picked up as stray dogs and their owners never came for them. They really needed rescue as no other shelters would step forward for the older ones. We decided to bring in 6 of these very wonderful small dogs. All are in housing together at the shelter and doing fine together. They are all dog friendly and love humans and just want to find another home. They have now been groomed as they were dirty and matted, and some of them are going to see the dentist and vet on WEdnesday the 8th and will want to go home after that. If you truly want a rescued dog, these guys are really the ones who need it. They will be spayed and microchipped too! Adoption fee will vary a bit but will be $ 200 to cover part of their medical needs.
