About Hagrid

Meet Hagrid! Hagrid is a 2 yr old Aussie mix and, though we haven't seen his doggy smile just yet, he is settling into his foster home nicely. He is slowly sharing his personality with us. He likes being near his humans and lays napping at your feet or chews on a toy near by. He is housebroken and crate trained and he gets along with dogs of all sizes. Hagrid walks well on a leash and has not barked, even when the others are making a ruckus! Hagrid is up to date on his shots and is being fostered in York, PA. A little on his background-- Hagrid was found as a stray in January 2018 (1.5 years old) and was 35 lbs. He was severely malnourished and the foster in AL took their time to slowly let him gain weight. He is now a healthy 65 lbs! We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
