She has not had a heartworm test because it is not something that is an issue in the area. She is currently on anti anxiety medication. Owner Info: Molly Pickles is a Double Merle, Catahoula Leopard. She was born completely blind. She is in excellent health overall but has started to suffer anxiety since the owner is away from the home more often. Molly must be confined to a kennel for her safety. Her owner writes, 'She needs a home where people are around her most of the time, and we no longer meet those needs. It's difficult and heartbreaking for us to even think of surrendering her, but right now she is miserable to the point of sickness and injuring herself.' Molly is good with men, women and children of all ages. She knows the commands, sit, down, wait and step. Molly does well with 'mellow' pets who don't try to engage her. She is amazingly gentle and friendly. The only time she shows aggression is when other animals try to engage her. She has snapped and broken skin on another animal but has never snapped at a person. Molly is sensitive to some noises and becomes anxious when left alone. Since she reacts to some noises she is not completely deaf but owner does believe there are hearing issues. Molly's owner wants potential furever families to know that, 'Molly is a sweet, loving dog, and she deserves a home where she can feel safe and calm with her person or people around her. People comment on her beauty wherever we go, and notice her 'smiling' and she loves the attention. If you are interested in adopting Molly Pickles, please email: [email protected]
