Chance is about 15-18 weeks old and he has a soft chestnut coat and ears that stick up! FHDR rescued him along with his sister from an over-populated shelter in St Marten and they are now living in foster home in NJ. St Marten is a beautiful island, but life can be hard for dogs. The shelters are overpopulated and so many dogs live in the streets trying to find food and water. Chance's foster family says‰'Ű|.'Chance enjoys playing with his sister and our dog, playing with toys, chasing balls, and he loves playing outside! Outside Chauncey is an active puppy who enjoys exploring, running around and having playtime. And he enjoys his walks! Inside he is a shy but he loves to follow around our dog and my kids. He will also snuggle up next to the kids and will sleep with them. Chance sleeps though the night without having accidents and he is doing great with house training. He knows the commands 'no', 'come' and is learning 'sit'. Chance is as sweet as sweet can be!' This handsome puppy is on the shy side and it will take him some time to adjust to a new home. His life has been full of changes and his foster family is helping learn that he is safe. Whoever adopts him should realize that he is a work in progress, but we assure you he will come around! He would do well in a home with another dog or children (older than 7 ). We are sure there is someone out there that sees how special and deserving our sweet Chance is and will want to spoil him rotten. note, the breeds on the island are different than in the US. So we can't tell for sure what breed the puppy is but what we do know is the puppy is 100% sweetness. If you have a furever home for this pet, please e-mail Furever Home Dog Rescue at FureverHomeDogRescue@gmail.com and request an adoption application. Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be alone all day. The breed and age of this pet is listed as is our best guess. We have no background info on who the mom and dad are. We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here to NJ. Please read our homepage www.fhdr.petfinder.com to read how the adoption process works. And, please visit Furever Home Dog Rescue's homepage www.FureverHomeDogRescue.com to see some of our many reviews. Thank you!
