About William

Hank 'n William and their pal Patsy all came from the same home where things were not all that happy. Their hard beginnings in life could be the basis of a heartfelt country song! The three of them were tethered indoors without much love or care, things were tough. Thankfully they are putting that all behind them. William is the first one to come to us and is settling in well. William is just fine with dogs of all shapes and sizes, he is sweet and gentle although unsure of his surroundings. He sooooo wants to be a part of everything and in the short time he has been with us he is letting his guard down. He ran with the other dogs around the yard, even managed to climb up on the side of the pond for a cold drink(a rite of passage here!) and loves to be by your side. William does great on a leash, finds comfort in human companionship, but then is a little shy about it as well. It just takes time, he will get there. What a fantastic boy, just 7 months old and looking for his happily ever after! He will do well in a patient home with tons of TLC.
