About Chief Elko

Hi, my name is Chief Elko. Elko was my puppy name and Chief is my name because I am the Chief. I'll answer to both, thank you. I am a Redbone Coon Hound / Rhodesian Ridgeback mix and am strong, loyal, fun and a real smart guy. My humans live in the city and I need country living. I love to run and hunt but need a firm hand to help me focus my skills. Acres to run in and guard as my territory would be great. I'm good with humans and most dogs (I Love to run at the dog park!) but not so good with cats. I like adults and kids, but that UPS Driver that walks up to homes in my neighborhood drives me crazy. I'm healthy and strong and adapt to new environments quickly.
