Violet Rose is a calm and sweet girl who had a difficult past year and is now looking forward to a stable future in a loving home. She is quiet and shy, but she has come a long way in her socialization and actually does enjoy the company of humans. She is crate trained and housebroken and rides well in the car. She enjoys toys, being brushed, and going for leisurely walks (likes to take her time sniffing all the wonderful scents outside). She is a lower energy dog who also enjoys her naps, but does have a playful side. Violet Rose has been fearful of other dogs, however, she has been working through this and has proven she will make friends with other quiet, nonthreatening dogs if introduced slowly. She now has a couple dog friends who she can actually relax and play with so it is very possible for her to live with another dog who is a good match. Though fearful, she has never demonstrated any fear aggression. Her response has always been to retreat and avoid. Violet Rose was a favorite at the shelter in which she had come and is now a foster favorite. Her sweet and vulnerable nature wins hearts and her progress and potential with love and patience has been rewarding.
