I recently lost one of my cats to cancer, and in the weeks since then Ninja has had increasingly erratic behavior. She meows constantly throughout the night, cannot be calmed down, and can be heard throughout my apartment building, which is causing complaints from my neighbors. I haven't had more than a few hours of sleep a night and it is starting to affect my health and job performance. I think that she probably needs some kind of psychiatric medication in order to reduce her anxiety and stress - but I have spent every dime I have on cancer treatment for my cat who passed away, and I cannot afford to provide her with the veterinary care she needs. I am heartbroken about this, but I think it is the best chance for her to have a life that she can enjoy and hopefully after finding a medication that can calm her, she would be a great companion for someone. She is six years old, has been spayed, and is not aggressive or mean, just incredibly, incredibly anxious.
