About Duke

Duke is six-year-old very well behaved happy boy until two years ago we move to our current house we bought and he has developed really bad allergy issues he's been to several doctors we really don't have the money to do all the testing that needs to be done we've been giving him medication that helps for a while but then when the allergy clear up one place He start breaking out somewhere else. I am pregnant with my second child and as much as we love Duke we unfortunately don't have The funds to continue to seek treatment. We are at a loss what to do Duke deserves to be happy and healthy and we don't want to give him away but we dont have a choice we would like to find him a good home and he also does have anxiety issues so hopefully somebody who can spend a lot of time with him and won't mind him tagging along every where...Will probably be a perfect for someone who is retired RECENTLY We took Duke off this website because we were worried about it might being a more serious terminal condition which turns out after a biopsy Duke has a skin disease that is treatable with medication UPDATE: We've had this ad on the website for quite a long time I want you to understand Duke however does have a chronic skin disease that is treatable with medication that he will be on for the remainder of his life. but that doesn't change his zest for life and his energy and his heart. He's a great dog.
