Purrloin (about 4 months old as of 7/28/18) is a female black with white shorthaired kitten. Purrloin and her littermates were born to a feral cat trapped in Waukegan. She was good mom who took excellent care of a huge litter or kittens while stressed out from being in captivity, but unfortunately when they were only a few weeks old the panleukopenia virus hit and she lost half of them. Purrloin was one of the lucky survivors. She is a perky, happy little girl who comes running with her tail sticking up to greet people at the door when they visit her like a desperate little puppy. She is very energetic and loves chasing around other kittens and the kids in her foster home, and when it's time to relax she likes to climb as high as she can so she has a nice view. She'll do best with a playmate in her new home, either a young cat or kitten, a couple playful kids or even a really cat friendly playful dog given a slow introduction. Our adoption fee for kittens under 6 months old is $125 or 2 for $200, which includes them getting fixed, microchipped, tested for FIV and FeLV, and up to date on vaccines. If you would like to meet a variety of our kittens, many not listed here yet, please check out our regular adoption events, Sundays from 12-4 at the Vernon Hills Petco
