About Sydney

Sydney was rescued 3.5 years ago from downtown Baltimore. She is a world-class cuddler, the best hiking partner and loves doggy playdates. Sydney recently completed an intensive 2-week training that taught her how to walk on a leash beautifully, hike off leash, ride calmly in the car and accompany you to restaurants and stores. Her trainer believes she will thrive in a new home and wants to help us make the transition as smooth as possible, so she's offered a free introductory session to transfer these skills and tools to her new family. Unfortunately, ours is not the right home for Sydney during this season of our life. With much heartache, we've determined she would be happier as an only fur child in a family where all members are old enough to continue her training (which provides the structure she needs to be confident and calm) and is active and plan to bring her along on their adventures. Sydney gives so much love and loyalty, and we will miss her more than words can express.
