About Minnie

She will need a fenced yard in her forever home. Minnie is still looking for a new home. She came to us as an owner surrender after being abandoned at a kennel for a new relationship. We always say, if you have to choose, pick the dog. Minnie was beyond terrified and overwhelmed. She had always been a snuggle buddy and even slept in her owners bed every night. She just didn't understand her new surroundings. A gracious and patient foster stepped forward and fostered Minnie, but she could no longer share with the other dog in the home. Both wanted foster mom's lap, and there wasn't enough room to go around. Minnie moved into a new foster with several other dogs and has done great! Minnie is a 4 year old, Min Pin mix that is already on a weightloss program and is slimming down. She takes a bit of time to warm up to new people and mostly prefers women over men. Minnie does fantastic with other dogs of all sizes, but does stake claim on her owner's personal space. As long as she is the only one snuggling on a lap, she will be great co-existing with other dogs. Minnie is fine around cats. She is crate trained and potty pad trained, but she will also go outside and is doing pretty well! Minnie would prefer a fenced yard. She can be skittish at first and patience as she warms up to new environments. Once she acclimates, she is comical and fun. Would this super sweet girl fit into your life?
