Our rescue organization was contacted to help find a home for this lovely 5 year old purebred brown rosetted Bengal girl. Her breeder needed to rehome her right away because of health issues. We did not want to send her to a shelter and were lucky to find her a loving foster home. Our organization has helped rehome many Bengal cats. What draws people to this fascinating breed is the fact that aside from purely aesthetically reasons, these cats are known to be very intelligent, independent, highly trainable, interactive and inquisitive. What some people don't realize is that this breed is also often quite sensitive. Since Cersie spent most of her life in a cage, she is a very shy and scared little kitty girl. She is also a sweet little soul, not aggressive at all, and even let foster mom give her a bath and nail trim. The perfect home for this lovely feline is with someone who has experience with the Bengal breed and who understands that they need a very attentive, involved, patient and experienced owner. We believe that Cersie will thrive in an interactive, but also calm and stress-free environment. We feel that she would do best as an only cat, or perhaps partnered up with a mellow cat companion. We don't know if she would be ok with dogs since her foster mom doesn't have any dogs. She may do well with older cat savvy children.
