About Cherish

Cherish came into us with a severe case of Demodex mange. After 6 weeks of TLC, she has transformed into a beautiful Chocolate Princess. Our best guess is that she is a min pin / chi possible mix. She is a small girl at 12 lbs and about 7 months old. Cherish has been spayed, she is up to date on her shots, on heart worm prevention and micro chipped. While Cherish does enjoy the company of other dogs, it is on her terms. She is a bossy pants, which while is an amusing character trait, it will not necessarily be enjoyable for all other dogs, so ideally we are looking to place her where she will be the only dog in the house. She is a sweet girl, loves curling up on the couch to watch tv at night and sleeping beside you in bed at night. She would make a great companion dog. She did take several basic obedience classes and knows some commands and started working on walking on a leash. We are still working on potty training, but if taken out on a regular basis, it should not be an issue. A fenced yard is not required (but preferred) and she would be ok for apartment / condo style living. Cherish has come so far and she is ready to find a forever home and be the Chocolate Princess she was meant to be! Cherish is currently located in Tennessee and the adoption fee is $250. Transportation may be available to out of state adopters for an additional cost depending on the area. The first step in our process is submitting the application.
