About Buttercup

Buttercup update! She has had her surgery and will be ready to go to her forever family on Aug 14. Buttercup is such a special kitty! Despite her discomfort she has been affectionate and cooperative throughout. She deserves the best home! Buttercup is a beautiful three year old tabby who has had a rough time. She was found on the streets with a litter of kittens after her family moved away. Her kittens have all been adopted, but poor Buttercup has a congenital eye condition (eyelid agenesis) that requires surgery. Thanks to the wonderful generosity of Broken Tail Rescue donors, her surgery has been scheduled and she will be available for adoption in early August. Buttercup is a super-sweet kitty who loves attention from her people. She's talkative and often trills like a star trek tribble! She tolerates a gentle senior dog in her foster home, but would not do well with a more rambunctious dog. She is not tested with other cats or small children.
